Last night we were asked to film a presentation by Network Rail at the Institution of Engineering and Technology in London. The talk revolved around improvements to the cross rail route and highlighted the huge amount of work Network Rail and their contractors have done. There was time for mingling and networking after the event with some grand views of the thames at westminster to take in. I could just make out the London eye through the haze of the mist and falling snow. IET events are open to the public and free to enter, so well worth a visit.
