If you didn't live there, it's unlikely you would choose to spend two weekends in december in Slough but that's been the case for us over the last fortnight. Fortunately it wasn't recreational but as part of a time-lapse shoot of the installation of a new pedestrian footbridge by Network Rail & Birse Rail at the train station. It goes without saying that body warmers and plenty of tea were required to stave off the chill but all in all we were lucky with the weather and only suffered a down-pour on one of the nights. The new footbridge looks impressive, ready for the hordes of visitors at this summer's Olympic Games. A video will be up on our sister site, Heavy-Duty Time-Lapse, in the coming weeks.
